What is Naturopathic Medicine?
The term Naturopathic Medicine refers to a distinct system of primary healthcare that uses natural methods to support and stimulate the body's inherent self-healing process. The human body possesses enormous power to heal itself through mechanisms of "homeostasis" - restoring balance in structure and function and adapting to environmental changes. Treatments commonly provided include Clinical Nutrition and Biochemical Therapies, Botanical Medicine, Homeopathic Medicine, Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine as well as Lifestyle Counselling and Stress Management.

Naturopathic doctors registered in licensed provinces must complete four years of professional training at a recognized college of Naturopathic Medicine. Admission requirements include three years of pre-medical studies at a recognized university.

Lorenzo M. Diana is a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and York University. Since graduation, Dr. Diana has established his practice as a naturopathic doctor through a number of clinics in Ontario, located in Ajax, Markham, Mississauga and Simcoe. While he has developed an eclectic practice, he has cultivated particular expertise in women's issues, digestive disorders, pediatric disorders and preventive healthcare.
A wide range of treatment modalities including homeopathy, acupuncture and nutritional and botanical medicine is employed for the benefit of his patients.
Dr. Diana regularly contributes articles on natural health topics in various journals and magazines and has appeared as a guest on CFRB Toronto and community broadcasts elsewhere.
Since 1998, Dr. Diana has acted as Simcoe's first Naturopathic Doctor. His practice has expanded in Simcoe and Dr. Diana intends to continue to serve the community from his new and enlarged premises at the Natural Health Clinic & Educational Centre, 338 Norfolk Street, South, Simcoe ON  N3Y 2W7

NEW  Dr. Diana has had tremendous success with the implementation of his new allergy machine which is designed to screen for food and environmental sensitivities, organ imbalances and the treatment of various Musculoskeletal (ie: Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, etc.) and Neurological Disorders. Screening is also available in conjunction with Holistic dentistry.
