Massage Basic Techniques

Massage Therapy is a holistic, hands on, healing modality derived by manipulating the body's soft tissues to faciliate a therapeutic response. This form of therapy treats the problems found in muscles, connective tissue, skin, tendons and ligaments as well as affecting change to metabolism: circulatory, lymph, digestive and nervous systems.
Basic Massage is a:
· Safe, effective form of stress management
· Of benefit to persons of all ages
· Provides relief for those in chronic care
· Can be used effectively on its own or easily incorporated into an existing practice ie:
  Shiatsu, Reflexology, Therapeutic Touch, Reiki, etc
· Easy to learn and can be put immediately into use

Learn the therapeutic benefits of massage therapy in stress management and chronic care.

This course is divided into 2 levels:
Level I - Head, Neck, Shoulders and Back

Level II - Arms, Legs and Lower Back

About the Instructor
Mora File
is a Certified Reflexologist, practicing since 1984 and facilitates certification and advanced courses in Reflexology. Mora is also a Registered Massage Therapist under the Drugless Practitioners Act. She has practiced Massage Therapy in the Niagara Region since 1986. Mora also teaches Introductory Courses in Basic Massage.
